Entrant – Any person or persons who enters a competition ran by Pinnacle Competitions Ltd.
Prize – The promoter may operate more than one competition at a time, and each competition will have a unique prize offered.
Winner – The winner chosen at random on or after the closing date will receive the prize / prizes in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Entries – The entrant must answer a qualifying question using their own skill. The question must be correctly answered to gain a successful entry to a competition.
When entering a competition, the entrants agree they have read and accepted the following terms and conditions:
If the question is answered correctly the entrant will qualify for entry and will gain an opportunity to win the prize / prizes for that specific competition. The correct answer must be presented for each question, the specified competition entry fee is due at this stage. Fees are in pounds (£) sterling and can be made either by the entrant or on behalf of the entrant.
Incorrectly answered questions will still be charged, and the entrant will not receive a chance to win the prize/ prizes of the competition.
The maximum number of entrants for each competition will be clearly stated on the specific competition information. If the specific competition is sold out before the specified draw date, a new date for the live draw will be announced within 7 working days via social media.
All entrants are solely and completely responsible for providing and maintaining the promoter with accurate contact, billing and delivery details on their account.
The promoter owns any prize offered from the time the competition is live until successful handover is completed. The prize will only be that as awarded at the time of the draw, unless the original prize is stolen or damaged. In this event, a cash alternative of the same value with be offered.
The competition is operated only by the promoter. The competition is open for entry to all persons aged 18 or over in the United Kingdom only; excluding the promoter, professional advisers or anyone else involved with the development or operation of the website or conducts administration of the competition in any way.
All entrants accept that their payment for each entry does not guarantee in any way that they will win a prize.
Only the completed entries which contain the correct answer will be entered into a competition.
As a condition on entering the competition, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws in their country of residence. The promoter will not be liable in any way if an entrant enters the competition unlawfully. English law governs this competition and all matters relating to this competition will be resolved under English Law, the Courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction. By entering any competition entrants warrant that any information provided by them shall be accurate, current and true. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant if there are reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has acted outside of these terms and conditions.
On answering the question, the entrant recognises that they must exercise knowledge, judgement and skill to provide the correct answer when entering a competition.
The maximum number of entries per entrant per competition is limited and stated on each competition page, although the promoters reserve the right to amend this as they deem suitable.
The maximum number of entries for a competition is ‘per person’, and includes website and postal entries.
To conclude an entry into the competition, an entrant will be asked to provide their contact details (including postal and e-mail addresses and a telephone number) and card payment details (for entry fee only). Once the entry is submitted, the entrants card payment will be securely and electronically approved.
All entries to the competition are final and no refunds shall be made at any time or for any reason, except in the case of entries received after the closing date or if the promoter cancels the competition.
The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into about the result of the competition following the determination of the winner as described above. Every entrant agrees that the typical requirement under the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000 for goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to this prize competition.
Closing the competition
If all the advertised tickets are sold before the end date, the competition will be closed.
If the advertised number of entries for a competition do not sell out before the advertised competition end date, then a further 4 weeks may be added. The additional 4 weeks may be added a maximum of 3 times after which a decision will be made and announced. All existing entrants that have already entered that specific competition will be continued to be included in any competition extension.
If the competition does not reach the maximum advertised number of entries the draw may still go ahead, this will be at the promoters discretion and based upon whether the number of paid entries sufficiently covers their costs.
In the event of a cash alternative being given the Promoter will be entitled to use 35% of the Entry Fees to cover Marketing and Administration costs. The remaining balance minus expenses (ie, payment gateway fees, website hosting) will then be the cash alternative allocated to the winner of the competition. This method of cash alternative will also be offered if we are unable to offer the original prize of the competition. For example, if the original prize is damaged or stolen.
Selecting a winner
The winning entrant will be selected live on Facebook using Google’s random number generator.
All relevant details of the draw date and time will be confirmed once the competition has been concluded via Facebook and posted on the website. This decision will be made within 7 working days of the close of the competition.
There will only be one winner per competition unless otherwise stated.
After the competition is completed and winner successfully announced, the winner will be contacted to arrange free delivery of the prize.
If the promoter is unable to successfully contact a winner via phone, email or social media after 14 days of the competition winner being announced, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner that will be randomly selected from all other successful entrants of that specific competition. This will again be completed live on Facebook using Google’s Random Number Generator. The original prize winner will no longer have claim to the prize once an alternate winner is selected and announced.
The prize will come with no direct warranty from the Promoter. Manufacturers of internal components may support warranty claims in the event of a failure. The Promoter does not in any way guarantee the value of a prize. The entrant must make up their own decision through their own enquiries and advice before entering a competition.
If a prize does develop a fault, it is the whole responsibility of the winner to exercise correct diagnostic procedures and consult local repair specialists to advise on solutions and seek advice to determine whether manufacturer warranty claims are required. No diagnostics or repairs will be carried out by the Promoter of the competition.
Serial numbers of prizes, including any internal components of all prizes are documented and saved by the Promoter to prevent any unlawful behaviour.
Delivery of prizes is completely free of charge. Prizes will be shipped free of charge using a reliable, tracked and insured courier company.
Collection of the prize is available and is solely the responsibility of the winner from the promoter’s address, unless otherwise agreed between the promoter and the winner. Once a prize is handed over to a winner (collected or delivered), is it the complete sole responsibility of the entrant to ensure safe transit of a prize to its destination. No alternate prize will be offered if loss or damage results after the initial hand over.
The winner will be required to provide proof of identity and proof of entry into the competition at the time that the prize is collected.
The entrants and the promoter recognise that the promoter may use contact details and other data including personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 2018 supplied by the entrants to the promoter to administer the website and conduct the competition according to these Terms and Conditions.
The entrants and the promoter also recognise that the promoter may also disclose this information to relevant third parties for the purposes of the prevention of fraud, money laundering, legal or other financial or regulatory reasons.
If you wish to enter a competition via a postal entry then you must send an unenclosed postcard via First Class post stating: Which competition you would like to take part in, the answer to the question specific to that particular competition along with your personal details as follows;

Postal entrants must have an active account on our website at the time the entries are processed, all details on postcards must match those on the account to which they are to be added.
Postal entries must also contain the correct answer to the competition question to gain a successful entry.
Only one entry to each competition per postcard will be accepted. Multiple entries sent in an envelope cannot be accepted. All postal entries must be received before the close of the competition, any entries that fail to follow the criteria mentioned above will be void as per any Entry received.
The postcard must be completely legible with clear, easy to read handwriting. If we are unable to read the entry it would be void.

The winner also agrees upon acceptance of the prize that they are required to have a photo or video taken for promotional purposes, both directly after their win and in any future promotional material.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time either before or after tickets have been sold. If the competition is cancelled, the promoter will return any entry fees paid to each entrant (either by bank card refund or by PayPal). Where the entry fee is returned, the promoter shall have no further liability to the entrant or to any other person.
Save for death or personal injury the promoter will not be liable for any loss (including economic loss) suffered to or incurred by any person or property as a result of any act or omission of the promoter, nor will their agents in developing, planning and administrating the competition, distributing the prize to the winner or following the distribution of the prize.
The promoter accepts no liability for errors or omissions contained within the prize details, description or specification or any other part of the website. It is the responsibility of each entrant to satisfy him/herself as to the accuracy of any such details and/or any content of this website.
The promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered by an entrant as a result of incomplete entries or failed computer communications or for any loss suffered as a result of use of the website. The promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries which they do not receive due to failures in computer systems, other malfunctions, high internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults or any other reason.
These competition rules shall not create or be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between any entrant and the promoter.
The promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
